This fab recipe by @nutritionalnosh is for all you orange chocolate fans to enjoy over Easter - read on to find out how to make these delicious chocolate orange easter eggs, topped with our Orange Soft Centre Buttons!
Ingredients:
  • 250g medjool dates (or other dates softened in a little boiling water)
  • 125g gluten free oats (whizzed in food processor to make oat flour)
  • 40g Raw cacao powder
  • 1 large orange juiced and zested
  • Dark Chocolate Orange Bar
  • Orange Soft Centre Buttons

Method:

  1. Put all the dry ingredients into a food processor (NOT a nutri bullet because it will break!) until it resembles breadcrumbs.
  2. Add the zest to the mix (saving enough to decorate), and slowly add the juice until it resembles a playdoh consistency.
  3. Roll into balls or buy some small egg shaped silicone cake moulds to press the mixture into, making sure you save enough room for chocolate to go on top.
  4. Put in the freezer whilst you melt the solid orange chocolate bar.
  5. Dunk the balls into the chocolate or put the chocolate on top of the mixture in the moulds.
  6. Put in the freezer to set, then empty out the moulds and dunk the top into the chocolate.
  7. Top with a delicious orange chocolate button and some of the zest!
