What free from events would you like to attend in 2024?
We can’t believe the new year is just around the corner! We’ve had a very exciting 2023 here at Enjoy Free From Chocolate, with many highlights - including our entire rebrand! However, we’re excited to see what next year will bring, both for us and the free from industry in general.
Food allergies and intolerances can be very difficult to manage, and Enjoy! are proud to be a “Free From” brand. We are working towards being free from all of the Food Standards Agency’s (FSA) listed 14 allergens. At the moment our products are suitable for people with allergies to: dairy, soya, egg, gluten, peanut and tree nuts (hazelnut, cashew, pistachio, Brazil nut, macadamia, walnut, almond & pecan). Our products do not contain the remaining 8 allergens (sesame, crustaceans, molluscs, fish, celery, mustard, lupin & sulphites), and we work hard with our supply chain to minimise the risk of these allergens entering our ingredients.
There are some great events coming up in 2024, where people with food intolerances and allergies can discover and try out free from brands. We’ve put together a list of some of them below, and included vegan events as Enjoy! is also registered with the Vegan Society.
Free From Festival
Saturday 24th February, Bristol, 11am-6pm
This is the UK’s first Gluten, Dairy and Refined Sugar-Free Food Festival, and it’s a recurring favourite of ours! We’re so excited to be heading back and can’t wait to see some of you there too.
Allergy and Free From Show
Saturday 22nd - Sunday 23rd June, London
A dedicated health show, which is focused on the free from market. Whether you live free from as a result of medical requirements, or simply a lifestyle preference, you will enjoy finding more great food, drink, and resources at this show.
Coeliac UK Local Meet Ups
UK wide and all year round!
Coeliac UK is a charity committed to helping those who have to live without gluten. They host local meet ups, dinners, coffee mornings and more across the country, all year round.
Vegan Events UK
Founded in 2017, these events are available around the country, and offer a wide range of vegan products and services from small and family run businesses.
